I found Sharon to be punctual, polite, professional as well as humorous which put me at ease before she changed my catheter.
Knowing that she is a specialist urology nurse gives me the confidence in her abilities and I know that I am in safe hands and getting the best advice and care possible.

Sharon is not only a brilliant nurse, but also a lovely lady too.
I have seen her a couple of times now and each time she has answered all my questions fully, made recommendations to help me and put me at ease about a rather personal problem.
During her last visit she showed me a technique on how to strengthen my pelvic floor, which, due to numbness caused by Cauda Equina, I haven't been able to tell if I was doing or not and Sharon was the only person to show me how to do this.
I would highly recommend her services to anyone hoping for kindness, knowledge and that personal touch.

I have today started self catheterisation
and Sharon made the whole experience
much easier than I had anticipated.
She explained everything in great detail
and made it all easy to understand. She
Organised delivery of my new catheters
and all in all made the whole experience
a lot less daunting than I expected.

Sharon was so friendly and totally put me at ease. I was initially nervous at the idea of self catheterisation but Sharon’s whole personality and general manner made me feel so comfortable. She is clearly superb at her job and I would wholeheartedly recommend her

I work in the HAMPSHIRE area as a Urology Clinical Nurse Specialist
I have been working in Urology since 1987 and have previously been a ward manager on a busy urology ward in Southampton.
I joined Fittleworth Medical in 2005 as a Urology Clinical Nurse Specialist and have now transitioned to Hollister. I offer FREE support to the NHS and my nursing colleagues an have an honorary contract with Southampton Hospital
My role includes holding Urology Clinics in Southampton and Lymington Hospitals. I visit patients at home to teach them self-catheterisation, I perform complicated catheter changes and complete full and independent urology assessments; including bladder scanning.
I work closely with Urology Specialist Nurse Practitioners, Consultant Urological Surgeons, General Practitioners and District Nurses. I have extensive knowledge of all urology products available and I have the freedom to make an independent choice based on individual needs.
